Maybe you don`t know, but it`s not a good idea for some filepaths in your hard drive to be longer than 255 characters. Those files, as their path is excessively long, can provoke conflicts and problems when recorded to a CD/DVD or when working on them. This has caused the creation of Path Scanner.
Path Scanner checks all the files/folders in your hard drive. In that check it will detect those that go over 255 characters. The resulting list is exported to CSV format. By default it checks those those over 255 characters, but you can change that figure to less.
Path Scanner is totally free and also can be run from the command line.
